I have'nt heard the Cherry 180's, but I just purchased a set of the Black Beauty 305m's and I am very happy with them! You wouldn't believe it but they drive my big Magnepan 20.7's without breaking a sweat! They are rich and warm, very musical overall, and provide excellent bass control over the big panels. Mostly they are just beautiful sounding with excellent detail and wonderfully harmonic textures. Excellent high power tube monoblocks!
