Cars. What does the typical audiophile drive?

Just curious. People have asked about watches,
cigars, beer, and even ones income here.

1: What do you drive (daily & weekends)?
2: What might you be driving in the future?
3: What would you drive if $$$ was no object (pick 2 ;-)?

My answers to the above:
1: Toyota truck.
2: Newer Toyota truck.
3: Lamborghini Murcielago & McLaren F1.

Gave up my aging MR2T 5 sp after losing my left leg due to acute sciatica following a misstep into a rabbithole, so am sufficing with one of my 10 Subies (a 2k Legacy GT black Sedan at the moment). Someday a used Audi S4 for all-purpose use, or perhaps a BMW 330 or Infiniti G35 SC if biz picks up AND my remaining daughter goes to a public college!
2k Audi S4 took all my 51st birthday steam this summer. A German-reprogrammed chip allows 306 hp and a whopping 366 ft-lbs torque over a ridiculously wide band such that I need only use gears 1, 2, 4 & 6 to hustle to 125. Cheap BBS VX 8x17 wheels with Sumitomo HTR+ AA AS look a bit proud, and although unfortunately squirmy, will provide yearround use. Chasing this stuff, August in Italia, and unremitting back pain have kept me from the A'gon forums, so it's nice to check in with you guys. And it's fun to surprise all those M3s and 540s! And that leaves a mighty nice 2000 Subie GT black AWD sedan for sale at only $11k! RSVP if interested....Ern
Hi Chris. Careful...early adopters claim the new S4's too heavy to be as much fun, despite the V8. Like me, you've already "chipped" (mine's an MTM) your 2.7T, and seemingly done a CAT-back to get from 300 to 330hp. Let's just hope the "glass-jaw" trannies hold up, eh? Just bought a short-shifter, after instaling a DTS. Have you bothered? Sorry to get so inbred, guys....
