can we get to the bottom of what "rare" means in a FS banner

and when its strategically slipped in to the add itself?

It doesnt tickle me and I often skip over adds when I see that in the header because it makes me think...

That component was shyte, for that had it had a limited run due to sounding like shyte, sales fell off.
Or
That component is shyte so the majority of them were used as firewood.
Or
That component is shyte so many listeners became angered with it and beat the bejezus out of it, few remain in assistance today.

Seldom does rare mean something good, were not dealing with coins classic cars or limited prints.

Perhaps mandatory testing should be put in place to teach how to type out a realistic sensible classified add. Then those caught breaking a rule get strung up with a sturdy piece of counterfeit monster cable.

Your FS RARE rant explained:

in in this context it is just a simple variable value judgement blend of the subjective  and the objective; I.e.:an Implied inference that
(a) it is a purposeful metaphor for generating buyer interest
BUT
(b) is not the ever-repeating, commonplace, dime-a-dozen offering of the usual  "Shyte" (... SIC ..... Its actually spelled a "shite" in the King's English  in the U.K. And Ireland from where it originates.)
