Can this be good first tube amplifier?

I found many people who had never used tube amplifier before but interested in trying it out for warm tube sound.

This one looks nice and appears to be good value.

After tube rolling input 12AT7 tubes, it may sound fine.

What is your opinion about it?

@Iwin

Thanks Iwin for giving your valuable experience.

I am surprised at the sound and build quality of Line Magnetic 508 tube amplifier.

Chinese started to make good products.

I have three tube amps, Silbatone 300B amplifer with original Western Electric 300B tube made in 1930's, Line Magnetic 508ia and Rogue Cronus Magnum II.

I started this thread to give information to those who consider tube amplifier for the firs time.

Each tube amps with different tube tend to have different characteristic.

It is true that there are many Chinese tubes with glare and brittleness.

But there are also some Chinese tubes with refined sound.

I like some Psane high end tubes but they are not cheap with price over 200$ per pair.
Thanks a lot plga and biketech60 for sharing your experience of using Yaqin ML-13s.

Of course it may be just good for beginner.  But value for performance could be high.

I am very happy with Line Magnetic 508 SET amplifier which I got this year.

Now Chinese starts to make nice products at decent price.

It is good for the consumers who have more choices.
Indeed there are also several companies in US who makes nice tube amplifiers.

I had enjoyed Rogue Cronus Magnum II for 6 years while doing lot of tube rolling.

But Yaqin could be one choice for beginner at more affordable price.
