I spent a lot of effort cleaning Sound Guard off some of my LPs many years ago. I found it left a significant sonic signature on my LPs and was sorry to have used it. There are many better cleaning fluids available today.

Can I still use old Sound Guard Record cleaners?
While clearing out some cabinets, I came across several bottles of record cleaning solutions. They include Sound Guard Record Cleaner, and Signet Stylus Cleaning Formula. They are probably between 15 and 20 years old. I am wondering if I can still use them. Do they degrade over the years, or are they stable? THANKS in advance to anyone who knows!
