The wireless speakers are in a different room from the DAC (I probably should have noted that in my original post, and I still want the speakers to work as a wireless speaker). The only way I thought this MIGHT work is if I take the analog output from the standalone DAC and plug them into back into the analog input to my streaming device. But the Node 2i does not have an analog input, so I would need a new streamer as the Bluesound Icon comes with an analog input. Just now sure if this would work.
