The Ayre Acoustics web site says the "Ayre QB-9 DAC has a simple USB connection that engages the Asynchronous transfer mode ensuring accurately timed music with jitter levels over a hundred times lower than previous USB solutions. Input is ONE USB PCM 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz (up to 24 bits), DSD64".
I do not know if your camera kit connector has an USB output but I doubt it. Maybe others can provide more information.
I owned the Ayre CODEX DAC and thought it sounded better than the QB-9 DAC. The CODEX has one USB input AND one Optical input (Toslink) input. The Ayre web site says input is:
1) USB : PCM 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz, 352.8 kHz, 384 kHz (up to 24 bits), DSD64, DSD128
2) Optical input (Toslink)
