Why put them on the wall? If these are rear ported they would likely do better a couple of feet out from the front wall to avoid boomy bass.
Would you mount them at ear level? I would say speakers of this quality deserve to be on sturdy 24 inch stands. I would imagine that you would lose something mounting them on the wall. I would think bass issues, soundstage width and depth. That's my guess. Hopefully others can add to my thoughts.
