Hi @davidchampa,
Funny you should ask this question. What I have found very interesting is that when streaming through the Eversolo I have found the sound to be much more "alive". And I noticed this immediately! Best way to describe it, music just has much more zest and is so much livelier. However, weirdly and inexplicably when it comes to detail and that last little level of clarity, I have to give the nod to the Brennan/Elite. Streaming through the Eversolo in some ways brings much more to the experience, but for that finest, minute level of detail the Brennan and Elite get the nod. It's weird. And I have all 3 components (Elite, Eversolo, Brennan) all connected through the Pontus. Obviously with differing connections, but it's now more of a level playing field.
I almost feel like it depends on my mood which direction I go when I sit down for a listening session, you know? For example, just last night when I sat down to unwind from a long hard week at work and I wanted to "rock out" a bit, I went Eversolo all the way! But today I'm leaning more towards the Brennan. Make sense? Best way I can describe it and put it into perspective.
Regardless I'm thrilled to death with the Eversolo and wouldn't trade it for anything! What a great streamer and so easy to setup and use. Very elegant looking too. Cuz, you know, looks are very important!
By the way, I have since relocated the Topping Velvet to the second system and connected the Brennan (via Lifatec Toslink) seamlessly to the Pontus which is now officially pulling triple duty
Hope this helps my friend..,.
Best Regards
