Can 26lb 2000W-Step down converter hurt sound?

I'm going to use a stepdown converter/transformer... Well, I have to. The one in the link below is big, heavy, and... 2000W. My concern - too cheap for so "big and heavy". Will it be really bad for my amp (9A continious, 16A peak)?
If so, which one should I get?
