Cambridge Audio 640R

An upgrade is due for a receiver and I'm considering the Cambridge Audio 640R. The 540R may still be an option, but I like the HDMI switching of the 640R for future expansion. I am on a limited budget ($900 to work with) and am open to suggestions. Other candidates might be a Outlaw Audio 1070 or used Arcam receiver...if I can stretch my budget a bit.

For this price bracket...you have picked an outstanding choice in the Cambridge. FYI, Cambridge products are designed by former engineers from Tag McClaren (remember them) and Meridian. Very Good indeed.

My next choice would be the Arcam. Very close #2.
