CAL icon mk II, dx II, or delta

Looking to upgrade. I only need the transport side as will be using only the digital output into my meridian 568. Which is the best for this purpose.

If it has an AES/EBU input, I would use a CAL Delta from the Delta's AES/EBU output. Theoretically this is better than using the RCA outputs from the Icon or the DX to the RCA input on the Meridian. Signal Cable makes a nice low-cost AES/EBU digital cable. In fact, someone has one for sale right now on Audiogon.
