CAL CL-2500 DVD/CD

Does anyone have an opinion on the performance of the CL-2500 both as a DVD and CD player.I am particularly interested in it's ability as a CD player.

Just purchased a Cemelot Roundtable and love it! The sound quality (for CD's) is excellent.
