Just curious if anyone is using cable elevators and what changes they brought about. I have read there are benefits to having cables raised off the carpet.
just put in some bpt cable lifters --cleaned up a little grunge that of course I was unaware of-- some of my cables were on carpet esp a long 19 ft run of IC--pretty cheap in terms of audiophile dollars--Albert very funny!!!!--rich
finally a very solid discussion without a lot of negativity --agree with albert --for my system lifting the cables made an improvement--every system is different as its resolving power-that is what is so much fun about this hobby --just do what makes you happy and don't forget to enjoy the music --rich
no problems with disagreement--it is just how it is done--I never wanted cables to make a difference when I first started let alone pwr cords etc unfortunately they did --however other tweaks never worked well --this is supposed to be fun --it isn't a life or death struggle !
