Budget DAC - Have AE D2

I bought a AudioEngine D2 a year ago when I needed a wireless solution. My living arrangements have changed and I want to sell D2 and replace with a similar BUDGET DAC.
D1 seems like an obvious choice.
Parasound Zdac appears to be a nice choice, but not truly budget...?
NuWave DAC is one I have read about, but no plan to go XLR/Balanced so strikes me as overkill, but maybe looking for a used one is a worthwhile option?
Happy for any direction in this search! Also, any advice on trading or selling D2. Thanks!
