Breaking in new speakers

Hi,

I am soliciting some recommendations on breaking in new speakers. Any suggestions for the fastest way to get the speakers to "loosen" up and sound the way that they should. Are there any specific software for playback effectively optimized for this other than playing them over loudly for 150 hours or so.

Jaybo is correct. You need to just play them for 24 hours a day for a couple of weeks at 90db. Put your cd-player on repeat and play them loud when you are at work. Use some bass heavy music. I just finished breaking in my Martin Logan Ascent-i and Descent speakers. Give them time they will sound just fine.
