@stereo5 @blisshifi those are good suggestions if you have a CD player... but what if you only stream? Classical music, rock, or does it not really matter? I'm having the crossovers and drivers on vintage refurbished on vintage Altec Lansing Model 19's, but really want to avoid having to jack up the volume to break them in.
Breaking in new speakers, what is your favorite music for this?
I have new L/C/R speakers in my home theater and listening to a variety of music and movies to break them in. Looking for suggestions regarding your favorite tracks/albums to try out on new speakers in the following genres:
- - Rock music, 70's/80's
- - Jazz, like saxophone heavy primarily instrumental
- - Classical, violin or piano
- - movies
- - all-time favorite, regardless of genre
