Was there something in particular you did not like about the PH3? What cartridge did you use with it if you dont mind me asking?
Bottlehead Seduction Vs Audio Research PH3?
I have owned an audio research PH3 before and really loved it. I changed to a phono stage that was built into my preamp. After just changing to a preamp that no longer has a phono stage, I am once again looking for one. My question is, how good are the bottlehead phonostages? Roughly what retail values does the seduction compete with? Would it be up to the PH3 level? I do know that gain is different, but I will be using MM cartridges so this is not a concern of mine. I wouldn't mind comparisons of only the sound characteristics since I do know the tech specs of each. Thanks!
