Boston Acoustics VR940, are they still good today?

Hi guys.. I stumbled on a pair of Boston Acoustics VR940. Except 1 of the sock/sleeve speaker covers has a finger sized hole on the lower-back side, they look to be clean

They are asking $125 for a pair.

-Although they are a bit of old tower speakers, is that still a good price, even a bargain or overpriced?

-How much were they new at that time?

-Would you consider buying a pair for $125?
