Just saw the news that Bobby Whitlock has passed away. What a great contributor to so many great bands and albums from Derrick and The Dominoes to George Harrison's All Things Must Pass to Bonnie and Delaney and on and on...... RIP
Yes. He certainly contributed mightily to Layla. Not only in terms of his passionate singing and playing but also his songwriting craft. I’ve watched and enjoyed quite a few of the videos he posted on youtube.
