Anyone try the new node update ? After the last update I'm afraid to.

I am having major issues with my 3-4 year old Node 2i.  It was operating very well until about a month ago when I started getting a message "Remote Service Error, Internet Server Error".  I then decided to update the software to the latest version and it has become MUCH worse.  I control the streamer with either an Ipad Pro or Iphone 12 pro.  I have unplugged my router, deleted the app etc, but nothing improves.  It is essentially unworkable.  As a temp solution, I am using Airplay 2 with Amazon Music HD and bypassing the BluOS app. Any suggestions are very welcome.  I have sent a message to Bluesound but have not had a response yet.  Thank you, Anthony
