Bettye Lavette

Hello all,  I am playing the newest BL disc, Things Have Changed; I don;t know her or her music well at all, but love Dylan, and this is a disc of Dylan songs done in her style, and produced by the great drummer Steve Jordan.  From my perspective is pretty great.  Also has Larry Campbell on it.

I have not yet heard "Things Have Changed". However, I have listened to Bettye LaVette's - "I've Got My Own Hell To Raise" many times and it is incredible. Bettye is one of the most honestly soulful singers I've heard in many years. She and Charles Bradley (RIP) carry on the great tradition of real soul music.
