My monster and panamax conditioners used to sit directly on the livingroom floor. I lifted them one day and placed a combination of thick styrafoam and bricks under them and was simply amazed at the improvement I heard. It was on the level of an equipment upgrade. A sense of ease and flow was there with more depth into the music hidden in the low backgound.....I'm humbly discovering, "everything sounds or affects the playback.....especially a nice merlot...." cheers, everyone. Sometimes the simpleist tweaks are the best ! The best one I've tried lately is to use some rubber door stops to tilt the center speaker down from the top of the monitor towards thr listeners' head. What are some others that have worked for you ?
