My wife and I have seen U2 in concert for the last 3 tours,(twice in boston, once at foxboro) and my favorite by far was The all that you can't leave behind tour. We saw them opening night in boston on the first leg and Bono voice sounded a bit strained. Still one heck of a good time and U2 is so talented, there is no comparison with any other band. Can't wait to see them again!
Bought Chicago based on some AVS forum recommendations and am watching/listening to it now and its a spine tinglingly great concert. Excellent sounding DVD as well to be sure! Great bass track and very dynamic/well recorded but only on DTS. the stereo track was pretty compressed and closed in sounding.
I saw five shows of the tour (all on the west coast of the U.S.), and although all of them were magical, the first night in San Diego has a special place in my heart. They were obviously still finding their feet with the material, and the set order, but it was an amazing show. The Los Angeles shows were incredible also.
