George Shearing is by any standard a wonderful artist. problem: Go to Amazon.com and 90 titles are listed. If any Shearing enthusiasts are out there who could recommend a few of the better recordings available, I'd be most grateful. Thanks in Advance
I own several Shearing recordings -- some on Concord, plus some previous labels. My personal favorite continues to be a recording from around 1960, "George Shearing in San Francisco", which I think was issued on the Capitol label.
