I am looking for the best power to my new Extremas. I use PSAudio PWDII and a Macintosh c2200 pre. I would like to get the most neutral and detailed sound I tried a few big "names" (Krell, ML, Manley) - no success. Please let me know your advice.
Agree with lloydelee that the Gryphon is a great match with the Extremas. I just acquired the burmester 808 and 911 monos and they are also a superb match for my extremas. Have never heard the extremas sound so good.
Twilo, The Skaaning is a fantastic unit. It is like a great vintage tuner of yesteryears. "richness" it has in spades and it is one of the best ever made. My mono 911s really bring out the best from the Skaaning driver.
