Best hook-up of cdp and T.V. to receiver ?

I have an old Marantz receiver being used for a bedroom system and want to connect the T.V. for sound as well as a DVD/CD player. I only have one tape input and one aux input. Would like a recommendation, please, from someone not too technically oriented.
