Bent Audio Autoformer vs Tube Pre

Has anyone compared the two? I'm thinking of building a fully balanced Bent Autoformer unit.

If you have compared the two, what do you think?

When properly utilized in a passive friendly system, TVC and autoformer linestages usually best any active preamp regardless of technology. I have owned many well regarded tube preamps and my Sonic Euphoria PLC has laid them to waste every time. Shakey
