Behringer DEQ2496 to Amp ..best connection?

Hello all - I'm going to try the Behringer DEQ2496 in the chain of my system and was wondering what are the highest audio performance connection options ..?

My System:
VPI Prime Scout - RCA 
Allnic Phonostage - RCA I/O
Lyngdorf TDAI 2170 - High Performance RCA ins / XLR ins / Optical ins 

Should I go RCA out of phono stage to Behringer optical or XLR ?
Behringer Optical or XLR out in to amp optical / XLR? 

If I go optical ,whats the best adapter unit?
