I don’t know what was being run, but they shared the room with a company called AGD, so it probably was their gear. To me, the PAP speakers were the best bargain at the show. My other favorites—Songer fieldcoil speaker, Cinnamon open baffle and Voxativ (tall stack of speskers) were all about $30 k or a little more than that. |
We need someone to bring back open baffles with massive woofers that actually have bass extension and dont have weird tweeters. Is there anyone making OB in the style of the Jamo R909 or the older analog Legacy speakers? A Pair of R909s have 4x 15 in drivers, a pair of Legacy would have like 6x 12 inches. These speakers could reach down to 30hz range without a subwoofer. |
