BAT REX VS ARC Reference 10

I have been upgrading my system and am wondering if anyone has compared these two preamps that I have under consideration. My system consists of Vandersteen MK II Sevens driven by his amps (they are on their way), MSB Reference Transport and DAC; both with independent power supplies, Aurender W 20 SE streamer. I currently have the BAT VK 5i that is 22 years old and have enjoyed it but its a little noisy. I like a large wide sound stage with depth and height and good definition of individual instruments and voices.

I love the 7's -- wish I could make that jump up from my 5a's.  My only comment would be that Richard often demos his speakers with ARC gear, but I don't recall ever seeing him demo them with BAT kit.  Food for thought.

Either way, I'm sure your system will sound amazing.  Happy listening!

Have your local Audio Research dealer bring over a REF6 so that you can hear the family sound with Vandy amps Audio Research Ref
Level is definitely worth a listen 
make sure your new amps are run in and then take a listen 
 years ago we compared an ARC
to Rex my customer purchased the ARC when listening with his Vandy 5as
