Basic DAC connection questions...

Hello.  What I would like to do is connect an Android tablet's OTG connector to the I2E connection on a DAC.  Is this even possible without a converter?  If so, what would be an example of one?  The idea is to send Tidal from the tablet to the DAC.  Perhaps that is overkill for Tidal's signal quality?  If so, what would the appropriate OTG to XXXX connection be (USB, Toslink,..)?
