My 2cents worth as I run the CDM1NT for fronts, but use the CDMSE for my center in a hybrid HT/Music setup.
The CDM1NTs will give you more detail/resolution - which I like.
The CDM1SE will be a bit more 'relaxed' on top.
I drive my 1NTs with a Musical Fidelity A5 int amp which as plenty of grip and growl to be a vg synergistic match.
It's all about what sonic signature you are looking for.
