My guess is that it would sound very nice especially with all the headroom that you would have with the amp. The amp would really sail along, appearing to be idling like a car for the most part. I have owned this amp for over a year and I love it. I would get rid of it unless I could get a $5000 amp for $1500 or so here in perfect condition
