AVID Volvere vs VPI Super Scout Master

So I think I have decided that I can't afford a SME Model 10 right now so I am thinking about just getting a SME 309 arm and a nice table.

First, does the SME 309 fit on the VPI SSM table? Or should I just stick with the arm that comes with the VPI.

Also does anyone have experience with comparing the AVID Diva with the Volvere?
