Auditory perception at the root of language learning. True or False?
Do you think that our audiophile friends from the far East - Asian continent in particular, have different approach from US counterparts when it comes down to music reproduction and hi-fi equipment? I remember Harvey Rosenberg in the 80's being mesmerized from the sound he had heard in Japan, and upon his return he was totally transformed and adapted the Japanese way of sound reproduction. Do you thing language has something to do with the way we hear, or is it cultural phenomenon or perhaps something else?
