Dear @alanpiga: The 103 output is 0.3mv where the S1 is 0.15mv. Could work your SUT but depending on your phono stage design you can or not higher noise/distortions that with a 103 cartridge.
Denon made it a dedicated SUT for the S1 and that's the best way to go for this cartridge can shows it at its best. Other than this the best way for this very low output Denon cartridge is to own a good active high gain phono stage design with.
