Audioquest Chicago Interconnect Upgrade Options

I recently picked up some Audioquest Chicago interconnects to replace my BJC LC-1 interconnects and am considering getting a 2nd upgraded pair to cover my DAC and SACD player.

I think my top contenders would be the following:

Audioquest - Big Sur or Red River

Morrow - MA2 or upgrade

Kimber Kable - PBJ or upgrade

I think $200 new is pretty much the absolute top dollar and that would be a stretch as I'm very happy with the Audioquest Chicago cable that I have.

Should I just get a second cable that's the same or try something new?

Well

I'm very happy with the Audioquest Chicago cable that I have.

The other option is to chase Alice down into the warren.

At some point calling it a day, and just being happy is not a bad option to consider.

It is your choice… and neither option is wrong.

However… Route 66 ended in Chicago.

It starts in Chicago, it ends in Santa Monica.

I go to the stereo shop in Santa Monica, so from my perspective it is backwards from yours.
If I go the other way (west), then I am stopped the Santa Monica pier… and Au is a long swim.

More like “deep 6” than “Route 66”  😎

I think my ancestors left the water a while back, so I’ll consider staying on land.

I can bear’ly swim across the pool doggie style, much less to even consider doing the Australian Crawl.

you left out the saltwater crocs..

and coral snakes, etc.
