Since you are going to have both of them at the same time you will be in a perfect position to judge for yourself. Use the one YOU like better.
Audio Research PH-3 vs. Mcintosh C2200 phono stage
I'm getting a Mcintosh C2200 with a tube phono stage next week. I've been using an Audio Research PH-3 (non SE) as my phono stage with a music hall mmf-7. Does anyone have experience with the c2200 phono stage? My question is, would the c2200 be the same or better? If so I can sell the AR PH-3 since it wouldn't be necessary.
