Audio Magic's MST treatment?

Hello Jerry,

What about my Transendence power conditioner? Does it have these IPF modules and safe to open? I just want to experiment some different duplexes with it.

DONE TO THE POWER CONDITIONERS AND THE MODIFIED MST WHICH

THE SAME RESULTS AS THE STANDARD BUT IS NOTICEABLE ]. WE ARE NOW DOING OUR CONDITIONERS WITH OUR NEW IPF MODULES AND ALL
THESE UNITS CAN BE OPENED AS ALL CRITICAL PARTS WITH MST ARE
PROTECTED.ALL POWER CONDITIONERS BEFORE THE IPF MODULES WERE
BUILT UNDER A SPECIAL SET OF LIGHT PRODUCING BULBS SUPPLIED
BY THE COMPANY THAT TREATS OUR PRODUCTS, AND YES, THIS WAS A PAIN IN THE A-- BUT THE SONIC IMPROVMENTS WERE WORTH IT.
AS ALWAYS WE ARE EXTREMEMLY REASONABLE WITH ALL MODIFICATIONS DONE TO OUR PRODUCTS SO IF YOU NEED ANY
WORK DONE DON'T HESITATE, IF YOU SO CHOOSE TO OPEN THE CONDITIONERS DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU THE COMPANY THAT
DOES THE TREATMENT CHARGES APPOX 450.00 PLUS SHIPPING
TO RE- TREAT THE PRODUCT.I HAVE HAD 2 CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE
HAD TO RE-TREAT AFTER APPOX 90 DAYS OF OPENING BECAUSE
THEIR UNITS STARTED TO DEGRADE SOUND WISE, I PERSONALLY
HAVEN'T TRIED EXPOSING THE INSIDES, I TRUST THE COMANY THAT
TREATS OUR PRODUCTS FOR US, KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. I DO HOWEVER GUARANTEE IT WORKS AND WORKS GOOD.

Tvad, these are all very good questions and concerns. I would also like to hear what the infra red "magic" is all about and how they are assembled with the light issue.

It's all a matter of trust, don't you think? If you believe in a company, their founder, creator, the whole nine, and he says this is what, why and how he does it, why not believe him. That's good enough for me. Tvad, if you knew someone who created, developed, and nurtured a wonderful modification for a component, like a cd player, that you owned and loved, would you believe what he told you in e-mails and phone conversations even if it sounded a bit outlandish and out there? Can you relate? peace, warren :)

Well, I have seen the inside of the earlier Audio Magic Stealth and Matrix boxes and ,yes, there is really not much inside. But let me say it again, they are the best sounding power conditioners I've tried. It really doesn't matter whether it's filled with pure air and nothing else, what matters is the sound.

So, I'm just curious about this 'new' MST treatment.

Sending the unit back to him will be just to difficult for me and I'm sure he will not say yes to me to open the box. Well, maybe I'll use IR light to change receptacles :-)

Is Jerry doing your outlets? Why do you think he wouldn't be assembling his conditioners under infra-red light? I'm curious, as well, but maybe a tad more trusting. Gullible maybe?

I'm also a long time Audio Magic user and extremely happy with their performance. But like most of us, I need to tweak it just to see if I can get it sound better. I plan to change its outlets with Oyaide duplexes. If the light is as you say deleterious on the MST treatment how it doesn't effect the cables with the same treatment??? And I don't think he assembles these conditioners under infra-red light. I don't know I'm just curious...

I have been using Audio Magic products for years, and love them. If Jerry, Mr Silver himself--the Audio Magic man says that light will have a deleterious on the MST treatment, I believe him. You would feel better if you called Jerry and asked him all your questions. Hopefully you will come away with the same impressions I did. peace, warren
