Audience AUSX MP powerchord

Hi music lovers and audiofiles, I am trying to upgrade my powerchord from Synergistic Research level 2
to Audience AU24 SX power cord which is a little more then double the price of Synergistic Research.
My very modest rig has Yamaha a-s 3000 amp. and CD player, Clarus Crimson cables. I know that power cables make difference in performance of the system. I would like to know if the upgrade is worth the price I would have pay. Please help me. What is the tonality of Audience power cord?
