There are so many choices out there.I had a Fender Bass in the Sun glow finish...wish I would of kept it......

Yogi Not at all,  I will say Servers & DAC,s are a different kind of headache.  Turntables were easier to run  even with all the up keep.  But i believe  I've raced past the Sound of a turntable. Also a $3k Table  is not going to get you to Happy Land 
 

I bought the MoFi Fender X Precision Deck Turntable. 

It's a gorgeous piece of junk. Wow & Flutter is abysmal, speed runs fast at 33.41 RPM, the speed varies from 33.29 RPM to 33.52 RPM, the cueing sticks during descent, plus it abruptly pulls to the right during descent. At first I thought the antiskating weight was pulling the arm outward while cueing, so I removed it. Still the same problem. 

Audio output cables have a ground discontinuity, if you move them, you get a 60 Hz hum like a guitar amplifier. 

The platter bearing was not lubricated from the factory. 

MoFi Electronics customer support is totally non-existent. You get no reply when trying to contact them. The experience is just like buying a used car from a disreputable dealer. No service after the sale when you got a lemon. 

I am returning the Fender Turntable. It is total junk. Might as well have been made by Hanpin!

Stay away from MoFi electronics their customer service is horrible!
