Are There EQ Music Apps Available for Streaming Media on the Mac?

I listen to much of my music in my living room at home via my MacBook Pro.  The music is sourced from a variety of web sites that play streaming music.  I am not using any music services such as Pandora.

The audio comes out of the Mac headphone jack and into my receiver, a Yamaha  RX-A2A and into a set of Bowers & Wilkins 607s and a REL T/SX.

The audio quality is satisfactory.  However, I also have access to EQ tools in my studio in a different location and am used to having access to EQ controls.  The problem here is whether there are EQ devices - either software or hardware - that I could use in this configuration to tweak the EQ and improve the audio quality from streamed music?

Also, I'm considering adding a Vault 2i to this configuration and would like, if possible, for the Vault audio to also be subject to the EQ controls.

So, please let me know if there are any software or hardware devices I should consider for EQ improvement in this configuration.  Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

I'm thinking of going with the Schiit Loki Mini+ 4-Band Tone Control Equalizer.  Do you think that is a good choice?

It's been suggested that I also go with a USB DAC for the Mac.  This is a review of some of them.  Would you recommend any of them in particular?

Please let me know what you think.  Thanks for all responses!
