I don’t find my 260x3 very powerful. My McIntosh MC2100 is old and half the watts and louder. The amp does seem to clip if you drive it. It doesn’t have a volume control so if you stream by Bluetooth you will have to use your cell phone volume control. This is unfortunate because the best signal is when the cell is up full. Now, I am using this for the 3 fronts in home theater. It was probably designed for whole house ceiling distribution like the TOA’s, Idk. I would rate it as a 3/5

i found a brand new thx 5150 165 wpc amp advertised for 900.00 .looking to upgrade home theater.want to spend up to 1500.00 for amp.paradigm mon.7 front cc 370 center adp370 sur. cube 10 sub .bought denon 3806 not enough volume.wanted to add 5 channel amp and use av for pre amp and zone 2.any advice on amp in my price range.thanks.
