I have Qobuz and don't have dropout or freeze problems with my several Raspberry Pi based players. Same with my Roku video streaming -- no problems. My first thought is that you should check your internet service.
Are some streaming players more reliable than others?
I love streaming music and listen to my CD player and TT less and less these days. It's almost like having the world's music library at your feet, al for $149 /year (Qobuz). That said, I'm pulling my hair out between drop-outs, freezes, devices not being recognized, etc. It' s always something. My personal opinion: It seems to me that this is a wonderful idea that was foistered on us before the bugs were worked out of the technology. Now that I have vented, can someone tell me if some streamers are less problematic than others? My present set-up:
MBL CD 31 CD player / DAC
Sonore Ultra-rendu
EtherNet Regen
Using MConnect for the connecting software.
thanks.
