Are Shindo and Thoress similar?

Hello all,

I own the Thoress 845 mono blocks, and was curious if those members who have heard the Shindo preamps and the Thoress dual function preamp sound similar?

from what I’ve read they both seem to have similar qualities and was curious if anyone can have any input?
