Are NOS Holco Non-Magnetic resistors worth using?
Hello fellow 'Goners:
I unearthed a stash of old stock Holco H4 resistors that I bought maybe 15 years or so ago I think before parts connexion changed their name, at a going out of Holco sale. Also dug up some Dralorics, but they are magnetic. The Holco drop right off of my 100 lb bench magnet, so these are the old ones. I am wondering if these are comparable to new PRPs? Want some resistors for a partial Scott 299B update. I use Shinkohs in my main system, but aren't going to spring $4 a pop for resistors here. Any thoughts from some old time rebuilders who have used both?
