Are Multi way/xover type speakers ~~Flawed~~

You guys already know very well where  my opinion stands There seems to bea  few others out there who hear what I hear in xover/multiway speakers.
Of course I don't expect much support here on Audiogon,
As I know where you guys stand.
Other than a  few horn and ELS fans who might not show any interest in making a  comment against the xover types.

**Ohh I like  my horn and my XYZ xover speaker,,as each does something different...** and such.
Compromised
And note the most famous mantra in all audio held by The Authority of The  General Consensus
**All speakers are a  tradeoff, all have compromises, all have weaknesses and strengths, there is no such speaker as perfect...** and so on and so forth.
WEll I don't swallow that snakeoil

You'll find more support for this idea that there is nothing wrong with xover multi type speakers in the topic below

Which FR do you have.?
Have you tried the Davidlouis?

WEll I post what I think, my opiions, Both the good and the bad of each experiment.
Folks can take it as it is.
Wonder why others have not followed my suggestion and try adding in a  FR as midrange.

I preach what I know is true based on experiences.
Stereophile propaganda-ize their favorite xover speakers.
Each his own I guess.

nope, best speakers ive heard are all 3-way or 4-way.

Yes
Look at all the big midels from the most popular labs. Wilson
Dali, Sonus  Faber, Tekton all sport multi way speakers.
I hit on the idea of combining FR + xover types via several influences.
My tech geek isa   electronic savant, designs  amps, can repair any amp, and some of his genius rubbed off on me.
He taught me to think outside the box.
So I did.
But this influence came AFTER I invested big bucks  in the Thor overhaul.
This disaster made me angry.
So I began looking at other designs/possibilities.
I asked him abouta  Seas 3 way witha  Seas dedicated midrange the CH15001 0r 002 in a  3 way.
**you gotta be joking?~?~*
After reading this message I completely droped all ideas  fora  3 way xover thi9ngy.
And put all my attention into these **odd, unusual, strange Full range speakers**.
Order a  pair,,hummm interesting,,, another,,OK nicer,,then another and,,,,so on,,, Then I placed 1 FR on one channel  the hot rodded Seas Thor on the other.
Blown away.
I went all in for FR.
Thats how I came up with my
FR duo + xover speaker as a
3 way.
About to add in the DLVX6 to the mix.
Making it a  sort of 4 way.
Multi speakers is  the best design by far.
The music completely opens up, blossoms.
A single AER or Voxativ w./o any other speakers as assit, is not going to make a  rich soundstage.
With a  single FR its a absolute must to intergrate  some type of woofer (Not sub woofer PLEASE yuckkky)  and any tweeter you choose.
Run the woofer up to say 500hz and tweeter down to 5khz.
I run my W18's up to 1800 with a  Mundorf 10uf cap and just swaped the tweeters cap from a   2uf to a  8 uf, which made a  significant gain in tweeter's ambience.
Good luck in your speaker adventures.
Your speakers are only limited  to the degree of your creativity.
