AR-ES1 motor noisy
I have an AR-Es1 turnatble from mid-1980's. The motor is noisy and makes a clicking sound when the belt is connected and it is driving the platter. While this noise does not get picked up by the cartridge/tonearm, I would like to eliminate it. Is there a simple fix for this, or do I have to change the motor? I have seen replacement motors on the vinyl engine website; are there any other sources?
