The AR-9LS does not have relay protection. Most likely the amplifier went into protection mode to prevent damage.
AR 9 LS Speaker Protection question
Question : Do these AR speakers have Relay Speaker Protection ?
I dropped my needle on a vinyl record while playing on loud volume...this made a loud feedback noise.
The left channel of my AR speaker quit working.
I waited awhile and retried playing record ... it played normally on both channels !
My Amp is a Bell Canto one C5 i . Could this have occurred because of Amp protection ? or ...
Speaker protection ?
